Full Day Kindergarten

The CDC offers full day kindergarten. Children must be 5 years of age by 31 October of the current school year. They must also be registered with CYS. Kindergarten class day is from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Before and after school care is included in Monthly tuition. Tuition is based on a sliding scale of 6 income categories.

The curriculum will be similar to that offered in surrounding townships while at the same time reflecting our developmental philosophy. End of the year goals will be based on the State of New Jersey core curriculum standards of what is expected of children entering 1st grade. The daily schedule incorporates math, reading, literacy, science, social studies, art, health, lunch and recess. Children are served breakfast (before school), lunch and afternoon snack.

Parents may enroll children now with a $100 non-refundable deposit. Class size is limited to 24 children. Open to children of active duty military, DoD civilians and contractors, Reservist, and National Guard. This year is no full time working requirement of parents of children enrolling in this program.
