Fort Monmouth SAS is accredited by the National AfterSchool Association (NAA), formally known as the National School-Age Care Alliance (NSACA). A Certificate of Accreditation, is a mark of a high quality program. Fort Monmouth SAS has been accredited since January 2002. SAS is also inspected, and certified annually by the Department of Defense. As part of Child & Youth Services, our School Age Program has been designated as an "Army First Choice Site." Our programs include the following:

Monthly tuition fees are based on a sliding scale of six income categories. Income categories are based on total family income and are standardized throughout the Department of Defense. Fees are generally 15 to 25 percent less then those charged in centers located in the surrounding community.
Mission
To support Army readiness by providing an affordable network of programs, that reduces the stress of separation and provides quality care options that enable parents to meet duty responsibilities without worrying about the safety and well being of their school-age children.
Philosophy
SAS strives to help children learn to work with their strengths, interests, and each other, to feel good about themselves, and to grow as individuals in the process. Our use of program activities, a carefully prepared environment, combined with the children's daily interactions with each other and our staff, provides for a comfortable, supportive, healthy and inviting atmosphere. We strive to provide your child with opportunities for positive developmental growth through activities that embrace the core areas of leisure, recreation, and the arts; sport and fitness; life skills, citizenship and leadership; and mentoring and support services.
