The Last HOO-AH Sporting Events

One of the many highlights of The Last HOO-AH was the various sporting events that took place at the Physical Fitness Center and on Greely Field on Friday.

The Commanders Trophy remains with the reigning 2009 Champs, CECOM LCMC Resource Management Directorate – G8, who racked up 384 points, participating in 5 of the five events.

CECOM LCMC G8 and PMBC tied for top spot in softball with 90 points each. PMBC had high points (110) winning volleyball. CECOM LCMC G8 beat all others for top rank in bocce ball with 90 points and took the tug of war portion of the tournament earning 70 points.

Congratulations to all the participants and winners. Our appreciation goes out to the sponsors for their support. And a very special thanks to all of the FMWR Recreation Staff for braving >10 hours of extreme heat to ensure that the games went on, all were safe and most importantly a good time was had.
